Mark Khan was assigned to Vietnam in 2001 by a syndicated group of investors to conduct feasibility studies on projects calling for Foreign Investment capital. Mark has a fluent understanding of how business deals are put together in Vietnam and was the leading advisor on several investments opportunities including Infrastructure development, Private Equity transactions, Luxury Lifestyle Brands, Golf Resort Development and the feasibility of foreign owned businesses entering the Vietnamese market.
Mark is also the founder of Young Professionals Abroad, a private forum where foreign business executives identify and discuss business interests as well as challenges in an authentic and confidential manner.
Prior to Vietnam, Mark worked in New York managing assignments at the New York New England Telecommunications Exchange(NYNEX), The New York Post and Computer Associates International. Mark is a graduate of The City University of New York with Phi Theta honors, class of 1986.

Mark has served as the chair of the Trade and Investment Committee of the American Chamber of Commerce in Vietnam. At the start of his tenure in 2003, bilateral trade between the US and Vietnam was $4.5 billion. This year bilateral trade is expected to exceed $16 billion.
Mark is also a mentor in the Vietnam Chamber of Commerce business program to help young Vietnamese entrepreneurs develop their business skills.
Mark is an avid recreational golfer with top three finishes in the Mercedes-Benz Vietnam Final, ASEAN nations Golf Summit and the Him Lam Invitational.
